Career adaptability is a psychosocial resource that aids in coping with current and anticipated tasks, transitions, traumas people experience their occupational roles. Although there great deal of evidence career relates to important outcomes, the role it perceived play involuntary, radical, socially undesirable changes understudied. Grounded construction theory, we conducted study an experimental vignette methodology ascertain whether moderates influence different types transitions on ratings hypothetical employees adapting effectiveness. Findings suggest can be seen as for managing radical changes. This one first papers test key tenet theory—that efficient related traumas.
